Title IX

Title IX (Public Law 92-318 of Education Act of 1972) prohibits sex discrimination in education programs and activities that receive federal financial assistance. As part of Act 82-Article XVI educational institutions within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will annually submit information to the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) regarding the opportunities and treatment of male and female secondary students (7-12 grades) for the preceding school year.
